- One more kind of report is described. If you have agreed to usage and crash reports, the app can also report simple technical events about how it runs, for example that an automatic backup could not start in the background, together with your Android version, or that a step of starting the app was slow or did not finish (which step, nothing else). They never contain the text of your cards, the names of your decks, your pictures or the names of files.

- The optional Google Drive backup is described. The policy explains what is copied, where it goes (a hidden folder in your own Google Drive that only YaadEngine can use), when it happens, and how to stop it or delete it. The app keeps your five latest backups in your own Drive and deletes older ones.
- Automatic backup at a time you choose. The optional automatic backup starts at the time of day you set in Settings, also while the app is closed, and only if something changed. While it runs, a quiet notification shows its progress.
- New permissions explained. The app can use Android's background-work system so that the automatic backup can start at the chosen time, can keep the phone awake while it runs, and shows a notification while it uploads. It does nothing until you have signed in and switched Auto-backup on.
- Export to Anki is described.
- A search index is described. To make Search fast, the app keeps a small index file on your phone, made from the text of your cards. It stays on your phone, is not sent anywhere or included in backups and exports, and is made again when needed.

- The first version of the app was released to testers with this Privacy Policy.
